Introduction of CATARC  Automotive Proving Ground Co., Ltd.

CATARC  Automotive Proving Ground Co., Ltd. (CPG) is a subsidiary company of China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC), which is a center government-level enterprise belonging to SASAC. Jiangsu Yueda Group and Dafeng Haigang Holding Limited are the cooperation investors. The construction of CPG started on Dec 31, 2011 and CPG formally put into operation in 2016. With total investment of 2 billion Chinese Yuan and test tracks over 60 km, we become one of the third-party proving ground with largest size, complete facilities, leading standards in China and even Asia.

CPG could provide test tracks and facilities both for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, our core services are road test and laboratory service, including regulation tests of whole vehicles and auto parts, R&D and export certification tests. The testing requirements for new energy vehicle and intelligent connected vehicle could also be satisfied here. We could provide extended services regarding site activities (such as new product launches, media test-driving, driver development and autosports etc.).

In order to serve our customers with high-quality services, we are also equipped with auxiliary facilities, such as office building, hotel, gas station, EV-charging, loading workshop and weighting platform, auto-washing machine, 45-meter control center, public workshop, VIP workshop and confidential workshop.

At present, we have attracted many excellent partners, like joint vehicle enterprises of Daimler, BMW, VW and Volvo etc., Chines brand of Geely, SAIC, FAW, Gagc, Chery and BAIC etc., auto parts enterprises of Continental, ZF, AISIN, Michelin and Giti etc.. Besides, new energy enterprises and new force in auto industry like NIO, BYD have also choose CPG as their important R&D base. CPG is becoming one of the famous R&D base like Michigan of US, Coventry of UK and Barcelona of Spain.
